We got a progress report from Taylor's preschool teacher last week. I and she was amazed by how far she has come. Last October she knew every letter except "G". Now she not only knows every letter but every sound and is reading four to five letter words on her own. In October she could count to 13 skipped 14 and then continued on to 17. Now she can count to 30 and up to fifty if I prompt her at every number change. i.e. 40, then 50. The report continued on about what a joy she is in class and how much Taylor loves to learn. It was exciting to see her growth. I am begining a phonics based reading program with Taylor this week called Sing, Spell, Read and Write. I'm eager to see how this is going to increase her ability to read!

WOOOHOOO! Way to go, Taylor!!! : ) Even more than the letters and numbers, which are GREAT, it's neat to hear that Taylor is such a joy in class! I hope our kids can be a testimony like that someday : )
ohmygosh. my brother and i TOTALLY did sing, spell, read and write! CRAZY!! believe it or not, i can still sing the alphabet song... no really! "a-a-apple, b-b-ball, c-c-cat and d-d-doll" ok i'll stop... :-)
