Last night Taylor went to her first concert. We took her to see the man who sings her favorite song, Was It Ever Really Mine. Jon Troast came to the Lambros house and sang in their living room. No joke! We stumbled upon Jon's music from our friend Luz this summer and have been listening to him ever since. He has a great sound and writes wonderful creative lyrics. I can now also say he sounds just as good live as he does on recording.
When I told Taylor yesterday where I was taking her, after her excitement died down, she asked if she could bring her money. I said sure and asked her why? She replied, you know to put a dollar in his jar. Too cute. Well sure enough while he played her favorite song she got the dollar out and when he was done she brought it over to Sussy who was collecting money earlier for admission. I don't know where she got that from!
Thanks Luz and Andrea for making this happen and thanks Jon Troast for coming out to rainy AZ. I look forward to the new cd's coming out in the spring.
